Waste management procedures

TransTec Services S.r.l. is committed to managing waste responsibly and in compliance with current regulations, ensuring sustainability and respect for the environment.

This document has been prepared in order to clearly define the set of concrete actions with which the company manages the waste produced. Here's a preview of the main points:

1. Purpose and Field of Application
The procedure defines the guidelines for the management of waste, both dangerous and non-hazardous, generated at the headquarters of TransTec Services S.r.l. All employees must follow these guidelines to ensure compliance with environmental laws.

2. Recipients
The document is aimed at all staff working at the offices of TransTec Services S.r.l., involved in the production of any type of waste.

3. Classification of Waste Products
Waste is classified into:

  • Municipal or special waste
  • Hazardous or non-hazardous waste

Examples of waste produced include office waste, canteen waste, paper, cardboard, plastic, end-of-life equipment, toner, cartridges and used batteries.

4. Management of Waste Products – Collection and Transfer Methods
Waste is collected and transferred according to specific methods:

  • Municipal solid waste: collected in plastic bags and managed by the cleaning company twice a week.
  • Non-hazardous special waste: paper, plastic and end-of-life equipment are collected and disposed of by the person responsible for waste management or collected by the supplier.

5. Responsibility
The responsibilities for setting up and positioning the containers for the various types of waste, correct disposal of the waste in the various containers/places placed, removal of the waste and definitive disposal, supervision of the application of the procedure are defined here.
