It was presented in Turin, the new National Cluster Technologies for Intelligent Community “Tech Smart Communities”.
An aggregate of companies, universities, technology districts, public research institutions and private companies, local governments in most regions, with the aim to promote and maximize collaborative models of innovation in the country and to increase the critical mass which contribute to European funding.
A platform to decline the priorities for research and innovation in the country on the “Intelligent Community”, a term which defines the smart city: smart cities are able to actively involve the population in innovation processes that impact on people’s lives, from the point of view of mobility, promotion of cultural heritage, education, energy saving and environmental.
Torino Wireless Foundation has done a work of synthesis and aggregation of responsibilities of all partners to finalize the four projects eligible for funding from the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR). Approved all four of the projects selected for funding, for a total value of € 43 million, reflecting the priorities on which companies and territories participating in “Smart Communities Tech” have expressed interest in the decline of community and school education, tourism and cultural heritage, energy, mobility. Other relevant topics will be presented on other calls, even in Europe.
